AWANA & CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
WHAT IS AWANA?
Awana is a worldwide children's ministry dedicated to discipleship. We offer Awana on Sunday Nights at 5pm to kids ages 3 through 6th grade. Youth is available during this time for kids/teens 7th-12th grade.
Every week, your children will learn the word of God through lessons, bible studies, and scripture memorization. Every child receives a Bible study book for their age/grade level.

WHAT DOES A TYPICAL AWANA NIGHT LOOK LIKE?
Every Sunday you will check in your children at the lobby at our main entrance. They will receive their Awana Bucks and head into game time! Afterwards, they will hear the word of God through a lesson by their group leader. They will then work through their Bible study books and pass off any scripture verses that they have memorized.
We encourage parents to go through their Bible study books with them throughout the week!
WHO IS INVOLVED?
All volunteers involved in any children's or Youth ministry (including Sunday School, Children's Church, Awana, Youth, VBS) have a valid, up to date background check on file with Boulevard Baptist Church. The safety of your children and teens are our top priority. Anyone who would like to serve in any ministry dealing with children/teens ages 0-17 must complete a background check with our church office before serving.
CHILDREN & YOUTH MINISTRY
SUNDAY SCHOOL
We offer classes for all ages including children and Youth at 9:30am every Sunday
NURSERY & CHILDREN'S CHURCH
Our nursery is available every Sunday at 10:45am for children 3 years and under, although families are more than welcome to worship together!
Children 4 years old through 4th grade are dismissed before the sermon to Children's church where they get a special, age appropriate lesson from God's word.
AWANA
Awana is available for kids 3 years old through 6th grade on Sundays at 5pm
Teens 7th grade through 12th grade meet for Youth at the same time as Awana!
YOUTH
Our youth group is for kids/teens 7th grade through 12th grade. Youth meets for Sunday school at 9:30 on Sunday mornings, 5pm on Sunday Evenings, and 6pm on Wednesday nights!
